IMP joins UK MitoCohort Oversight Committee

IMP are delighted to have been asked to join the UK MitoCohort Oversight Committee. The UK Mitocohort is a UK wide database that collects clinical information on patients living with mito, to help advance understanding of the disease.

IMP’s oversight role will ensure that the international patient voice is considered in all research that applies to use this data and that the research conducted is relevant to patients, ethical, realistic, and has been adequately thought through, considering mito patients needs and potential limitations.
